I hold a B.S. in Mathematics (Numerical Analysis) from Arizona State University and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. My educational foundation in both mathematical theory and practical information systems gives me a unique perspective on solving technical problems efficiently.

Professional Background

My career spans diverse industries and technologies:

• 19 years at Motorola (Semiconductor Test Engineering) - Developed systems to control automated equipment for testing electrical and physical properties of semiconductor chips on silicon wafers
• 25 years at Zoot Enterprises (Financial Software) - Engineered automated financial credit decision systems for loan applicants
• Additional experience at GTE Automatic Electric (communications), NCR (mainframe and mini computers), and Topaz Electronics (power supplies and conditioners)
• U.S. Navy veteran - Served as a Sonar Technician on submarines and surface ships

This breadth of experience has given me hands-on expertise with virtually every major operating system, programming language, and technology platform developed over the past four decades—and more importantly, the ability to integrate them seamlessly to bring about a harmonious integration of human to computer to product that empowers users to work faster and more efficiently.

Technical Experience

My technical experience ranges from controlling automated equipment to test electrical and physical properties of semiconductor chips on silicon wafers, to automating financial credit decisions for loan applicants. I have consulted and written websites for companies like Ryobi Outdoor Products and created and maintained databases for smaller organizations like the Montana State Bowling Association. I have also created application-specific databases and on-the-fly statistical analysis from dynamic data sources that utilize both push and pull techniques.
